Yet Another BC Blog!

Welcome to my blog! My name is Teagen Boll and I am a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and have been implementing Business Central as a consultant for nearly 7 years now. I’ve implemented countless projects across different industries, ran webinars outlining new features and given talks at conferences such as Summit.

I made the leap to start a Business Central and Dynamics blog and I know what you’re thinking, this is yet another blog about Business Central! True, and while the Business Central commmunity is amazing and full of wonderful people, there isn’t much content around how Business Central is compliant with accounting frameworks. It might seem like a dry topic at first but for Finance Teams, Controllers, CFOs and Accountants this is really at the core of any ERP solution. Making sure a system is compliant and understanding how it can work within accounting frameworks can be a fun puzzle to solve.

So that’s where this blog comes in! I want to focus on creating content related to Business Central and accounting framework compliance. I don’t believe i’ll always be writing specific about accounting processes and frameworks as Business Central and the Dynamics world at large is way broader than that. Think of this as a collection of thoughts and information and hopefully you can get some use out of this blog as a resource when evaluating Business Central or learning more about it overall.

I should also note i’m not really a writer either so excuse any poor grammar and punctuation as it’s not really a skillset I developed while I spent most of my time immersed in spreadsheets and audit documentation.
